---Welcome to my website, be patient it's under construction. ---- I am curious by nature and sometimes that leads me down the road less traveled. That tendancy has carried over into my involvement with photography. My technical leanings are by no means new or unique. The idea to delve into photogammetry came from a paper written in 1946 and involved a 360 degree panoramic camera that was specially built for the task. My Canon fitted with a fisheye lens and a photo stitching program filled in for the special camera described in the paper and works as described in 1948. Infra red is almost as old as photography itself (1910), and anybody can do it. Why more don't, who knows? As for 3D, the technique has been around since the Civil War and used all over the world before 1900. I started with a 3D film camera and now use a pair of Canon DSLRs mounted together.I use a program called Stereo Photo Maker (its free to download and is fantastic) to combine the images. The immersive panoramas require at least a wide angle lens but works best with a fisheye and special software, I prefer PTGUI to stitch with and Pano2vr for the "Tours"
